In the event that the number of children of qualifying age on the waiting list exceeds the number of places available the following criteria will be applied, in the order set out below, to decide which children to admit:

Looked after children.

Siblings – children with a sibling who attends or has attended the pre-school in the previous four years.

Proximity – proximity of the child’s home to the pre-school as measured in a straight line from the front door of the home to the front door of the pre-school, with those living nearer being accorded the higher priority.
